The group used samples from Battery by Metallica and Master of Puppets by Metallica. Metallica has 9 #1 albums on Billboard 200, including Metallica (1991) and Death Magnetic (2008). They became the first thrash metal group to perform at Grammy Awards in 1989. Their influence is felt in the work of Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax. The group sold over 125 million records worldwide and received 9 Grammy Awards.
