Morrissey

Morrissey is a British singer who was the frontman of The Smiths (1982-1987). His solo debut album Viva Hate (1988) reached #1 on UK Albums Chart and included the hit Suedehead. Morrissey used samples from Suedehead by Morrissey and Everyday Is Like Sunday by Morrissey. He has 8 Top 10 albums in the UK between 1988-2017, including Vauxhall and I (1994) and You Are the Quarry (2004). Morrissey became the first British artist to have 3 consecutive #1 albums on UK Albums Chart. His influence is felt in the work of Radiohead, Oasis and The Strokes.
