Neil Young

Neil Young is a Canadian rock musician who created the hit Heart of Gold (1972). The song reached #1 on Billboard Hot 100 and became his biggest commercial success. Young used acoustic guitar and harmonica in songs from the album Harvest (1972). He has 34 studio albums and sold over 75 million records worldwide. Young was a member of Buffalo Springfield (1966-1968) and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (1969-1970). He became the first artist to be inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice - solo (1995) and with Buffalo Springfield (1997). His influence is felt in the work of Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Radiohead.
