Nickelback is a Canadian post-grunge group who created the hit How You Remind Me (2001). The song reached #1 on Billboard Hot 100 and became the biggest rock hit of 2002. The group sold over 50 million albums worldwide and has 23 Top 40 hits. Nickelback had 7 consecutive Top 10 albums on Billboard 200 between 2001-2014. Chad Kroeger (vocalist) was married to Avril Lavigne in 2013-2015. The group became the most successful Canadian rock group of the 2000s, but also the most criticized on the internet. Their influence is felt in the work of Theory of a Deadman, Default and Three Days Grace.
