Papa Roach

Papa Roach
Papa Roach is an American rock group from California who created the hit Last Resort (2000). The song reached #57 on Billboard Hot 100 and became an anthem of the nu-metal movement in the early 2000s. The group used aggressive vocals and heavy guitar riffs combined with rap elements. Papa Roach sold over 20 million albums worldwide and had 14 #1 hits on Mainstream Rock chart. Vocalist Jacoby Shaddix struggled with addiction problems, which inspired many of their songs. The group performed at Download Festival, Rock am Ring and Warped Tour over 50 times. Their influence is felt in the work of Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit and Three Days Grace.
