Peggy Lee

Peggy Lee is an American jazz singer Norma Deloris Egstrom who created the hit Fever (1958). The song reached #8 on Billboard Hot 100 and became her signature song with distinctive sultry delivery. Lee started her career with Benny Goodman Orchestra in 1941 and recorded over 600 songs. She co-wrote songs for Disney film Lady and the Tramp (1955), including Hes a Tramp and Siamese Cat Song. Peggy had 3 Top 10 hits on Billboard Hot 100 between 1948-1969. She became the first woman to sue Disney for royalties in 1988 and won $2.3 million. Her influence is felt in the work of Diana Krall, Norah Jones and Amy Winehouse.
