Rick Springfield is an Australian-American rock singer who created the hit Jessies Girl (1981). The song reached #1 on Billboard Hot 100 and became their signature song. Rick wrote Jessies Girl about real person Jessie, who was his friends boyfriend. He also starred in soap opera General Hospital as Dr. Noah Drake in 1981-1983.
