Robert Miles

Robert Miles is an Italian electronic producer Roberto Concina who created the hit Children (1995). The song reached #21 on Billboard Hot 100 and #1 in 12 countries, becoming global dance anthem. Miles used dreamy piano melodies and ambient electronic beats, which became signature sound of trance music. Children was inspired by traffic accident victims and became tribute to children who died. The track sold over 5 million copies worldwide and received platinum certification in 5 countries. Miles died in 2017 from unknown illness at age 47. His influence is felt in the work of ATB, Paul van Dyk and Armin van Buuren.
