Oh, Boy!

Rockabilly Rock
Buddy Holly and The Crickets recorded “Oh, Boy!” in 1957, a rockabilly song that became one of Holly’s hits. It was actually written by Sonny West as “All My Love,” but when The Crickets recorded it they changed the title. Producer Norman Petty was given a writing credit though he didn’t write it. The single’s B-side was “Not Fade Away,” another Holly song later covered by The Rolling Stones.
